The project consists of grading, drainage, paving, and structures on an 8.84 mile stretch of highway on the PGBT.  Specific scope elements include; 55,000 SY of 13" CRCP and 7,000 SY of 12" CRCP; widening on the inside EB and WB PGBT lanes; pavement base of 8" lime treated subgrade and 6" of dense-grade hot-mix asphalt; 28,000 LF of Single Slope Traffic Rail on the concrete pavement; 47,500 CY of earth excavation and 56,000 CY of the embankment to build subgrade for new lanes and raise the profile of the grass median; and drainage improvements including raised inlets and block sodding.
