MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT C&D FOUNDATIONS

This project is located airside, between Concourses C and D. It consists of approximately 1,260 auger cast piles with about 300 reinforced concrete pile caps and columns, 18 concrete reinforced shear walls, 8 elevator pits, two tunnels, and all underground mechanical and electrical utilities to service the new building. Utilities include sanitary, storm drainage and water distribution systems, fire protection mains, as well as, all concrete encased electrical and communication duct banks and manholes.
