As part of the Love Field Modernization Program (LFMP), this phased project involves the replacement and reconstruction of the existing aircraft apron around a new 20 gate Concourse. The work includes 345,000 SY of proposed concrete pavement ranging from 4 to 17 inches in depth, demolition of the existing concrete apron, excavation and embankment, installation of a new hydrant fueling system, relocation of an existing 36 inch water main, and all associated drainage and electrical utilities - including signage and ramp/gate striping. These activities are phased to maximize efficiency, all without interrupting active airfield operations around the project.
