February 9 was a very gray and wet Monday morning, but walking into the Media Center at Homestead Elementary School, the mood turned sunny and warm. The school approached MCM for assistance in removing two 8’x20’ containers that were sitting in their parking area. Our own Jerry Foster, and a crew from NW 36th Street, worked to remove the containers.

Carolina is a multi-faceted professional with a truly-dynamic skill set. A graduate of the University of Florida in Building Design and Architecture, she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Construction Management from Florida International University.

MCM to Complete United Healthcare ALF Project in January 2015

Our United Healthcare ALF Project is approaching completion in January. This $11 million project is an Adult Living Facility in Kendall next to the new Baptist Hospital. The four-story building will have 122 units over 340 SF and 360 SF total of 87,000 SF. The first floor will have a dining room lounge, commercial kitchen, 12 units, offices, mechanical and electrical rooms. On the second, third, and fourth floors, there will be the rest of the units along with Arts and Craft and Wellness Center.

MCM Begins Work on The Pembroke Road Project

MCM has started construction on The Pembroke Road Project. A key component of this project was the assembly and installation of an Arch Culvert. This Aluminum Structural Plate Arch Culvert is an impressive 177’ long, has a span of 16’-4”, a 10’-6” rise, and a weight of 20,755 lbs!
