Breaking Ground on Our Lady of Guadalupe

MCM was honored to attend the recent groundbreaking of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This distinguished project was celebrated with a very intimate ceremony of only 20 guests. The attendees included Bishop Peter Baldacchino, who blessed the site, the City of Doral Mayor Luigi Boria, parish priest Father Israel Mago, who organized the groundbreaking, the Director of Facilities from the Archdiocese of Miami David Prada, Zyscovich architect Jose Murguido and our own Juan Munilla.

Everyone spoke of their happiness to be participating in such an amazing project and expressed their confidence that the result will be an extraordinary representation of the Catholic faith for the community.

The project consists of the construction of a 17,400 square-foot Catholic Church, 2 chapels (3,500 square-feet) and a parish center (10,000 square-feet), including a parking area (289 spaces) and other improvements. The site is located in Doral, at the intersection of NW 117th Avenue and NW 25th Street.
